The map at the right shows general locations of sites visited by the reconnaissance team.  The numbers in shaded gray correspond to the site identifiers in the photo index below. 

The photographs included here are a small subset of hundreds collected during post-earthquake investigations March 2, 3, and 4.  As the reconnaissance team finds time to further assimilate and summarize observations, photos are likely to be added.  Please send us e-mail if you find errors on this site. This material is being distributed quickly in response to the need for immediate information.
